Pernechele's Ford Family Museum

Martin Wood

A great day out to see the massive extensions to the Ford Museum (www.fordfarm.com.au) hosted by Tony.

One of the new buildings is in the form of an old style Service Station with bowsers etc. on the forecourt.  On entering thru the front doors you find yourself in a 1960’s diner with the red booths, black and white checkered floor, juke boxes and 60’s memorabilia.  This area can be hired out for functions at any time.  At the back of the diner two more doors open into a huge display of more cars with even a couple of Chevs amongst the collection of Fords.

Another new shed housed the new toilet block and even more cars.

We all stopped for a B.B.Q. lunch then resumed viewing this magnificent collection of cars and Tony was always on hand to answer any questions and give us the history of any car we asked about.

By about 3pm it was time to head for home after a most enjoyable day bathed in perfect weather.
